“I have seen a lizard so hungry it ate 4 knights whole, and ones so docile a small child fell asleep on its head, oddly enough it was the same lizard in the same day.” Lontain, the Wandering Bard

From the size of a coin to large enough to be confused with great dragons, lizards can be found in almost every climate adapted to fly or burrow accordingly. While not the most intelligent of beasts, some breeds can be domesticated as mounts, beasts of burden or war.

While all are different, these animals share traits such as the ability to see in low light, hard scales for defense and sharp teeth and claws to help protect them or bring down prey.
